DESIGN OFFICE

Every day, the ALTERVAL TEAM works on new product solutions to adapt your needs to our machines. For example, patented for the first time in 1998, our plastic rotary head made it possible to compact shrink wrap. Always attentive to its customers’ needs, ALTERVAL made improvements and patented its new universal head in 2016 for compacting stretch and shrink films.

Requirements analysis/sizing

At the heart of every project, our Design Office begins with a detailed analysis of the customer’s needs. This initial phase involves understanding the flows, the volumes to be processed, the site environment and the operational constraints. Using a methodical approach, we carry out feasibility studies, 3D representations and a complete sizing of the solutions to be implemented. The aim is to offer a compactor or installation that is perfectly suited to the site, optimising space, productivity and workplace safety.

Profitability study

Our team then assesses the economic relevance of the project. Based on operating data, logistics costs and performance objectives, we develop a detailed profitability study. This analysis allows each customer to identify the savings generated: reduction in the number of rotations, optimisation of compaction, reduction in handling or lower processing costs. Each solution is designed to guarantee a concrete and measurable return on investment.

Custom
installation study

Because each site is unique, we create customised layout plans to integrate the machines into the customer’s environment. The Design Office designs customised installations, whether it’s creating an ergonomic workstation, adding specific options or adapting the machine to particular technical constraints. Precise manufacturing plans accompany each project to ensure flawless execution.

Design and adaptation office Valpak

Our engineers also adapt Valpak installations and participate in the design of specific projects. Our R&D unit develops innovations and continuously improves our machines: new options, technical developments, compliance with standards and patent filings. Since 1998, with the first plastic rotary head, up to the universal breve head.
